Signature Maker

Create a signature in seconds — draw it freehand or type your name in a handwriting style — then download it as a transparent PNG. Everything happens on your device; nothing is uploaded.

To make a signature, draw it on the pad with a mouse, finger, or stylus — or switch to Type mode and enter your name in a handwriting style — then download a transparent PNG trimmed to your signature. The transparent background means it drops onto a Word document or PDF (Insert → Picture) with no white box around it.

Signature drawing area. Switch to Type mode to enter your name as text instead.

Draw your signature with your mouse, finger, or stylus.

How to make a signature

Draw mode: sign on the pad with your mouse, finger, or a stylus. Pick a pen color and thickness, and use Clear to start over. Type mode: type your name and choose a handwriting-style look, color, and size.

When you download, the image is automatically trimmed to your signature and saved as a PNG with a transparent background — so it drops cleanly onto documents, contracts, photos, or web pages without a white box around it.

Your signature never leaves your device — it is created entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

Not a legal e-signature. This tool makes a quick signature image for everyday use. It does not sign, bind, timestamp, or verify a document the way a legal electronic-signature service does. For anything legally binding, use a proper e-signature provider.

Frequently asked questions

Is my signature uploaded anywhere? No. It is created on your device, in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.

What format is the download? A transparent PNG, trimmed to your signature.

How do I add it to a Word document or PDF? Insert the PNG as a picture where you want to sign (Insert → Picture in Word, or the image/stamp tool in a PDF editor). The transparent background means only your signature shows.

Should I draw or type it? Draw mode looks the most natural, especially with a finger or stylus. Type mode is quick and tidy when you just need a readable handwriting-style signature.

Will it look crisp? Yes — the drawing pad adapts to high-resolution (Retina) screens so lines stay sharp on screen and in print.
